FAQs
Do you train people in any other topics?
At this stage, this is the only workshop that Ian is delivering but he can help with specific training sessions and guidance on some of the more popular social media platforms or advise and assist with the crafting of online advertising, for example. Please click here to get in touch with Ian to find out more.
Where can I find any reviews or feedback on your work?
This page has lots of feedback that will help you. Ian is also happy to connect you with other satisfied clients as required.
Why is the workshop on a Saturday?
This workshop is intensive and there is a huge amount of content to cover. It is essential that participants are fully focussed throughout the day and therefore a Saturday has been chosen as it is a traditional non-work day and there is less likelihood of attendees having to take business calls or answer client emails. For those travelling some distance to attend an event, it can also be much easier to travel into and out of the CBD at the weekends and it’s an ideal way to add an extra day on for some sightseeing if you’re new to the city!
What is the format of the workshop?
The workshop is divided into three key parts. The first is the setting of objectives to guide your activities online and time is taken to ensure that participants have clarity in this area. The second part of the session focuses on the major tools and platforms that can help you to achieve your objectives. In the third part, we discuss content in great detail and a wide variety of themes and topics are introduced. There is also a lot of time set aside for Q&A throughout the day and regular breaks for morning/afternoon tea and lunch (all provided).
What makes this session different to the other workshops and training that’s out there?
This session is taught by a social media practitioner who has been using a wide range of tools every day since 2009 to market products and services to clients and customers. Ian studies data from around the world to ensure his knowledge is accurate and up to date and his own experience from the UK gives his clients a distinct advantage as they begin to make an impact in Australia. He is also a thought leader in his own right, developing theories on social media and helping clients every day to future-proof their marketing efforts.
Do you offer these workshops outside of Sydney?
Yes – the first workshop to run outside of Sydney will take place in Melbourne in the first quarter of 2018. There will also be a Brisbane workshop taking place in the second quarter of 2018.
Why should we believe you have all the answers?
No-one has all the answers, but Ian has a large amount of experience in this area and is passionate about helping businesses understand how these tools work and can deliver the results they are looking for. The very first question above should also help you to answer this question and gain some confidence.
If we enjoy the session, how can we work with you again?
Ian has a range of services that can help you take your skills and knowledge to a whole new level. You can find out about them here.
